Whew, I made it through Back To School!

My girls have just completed their first full month of school they are in kindergarten, second, and fourth grade. It still feels quite surreal that I have 3 of 4 girls in school and it's just me and my youngest (3 years old) left to explore the world. I was on edge all summer about Back To School because my girls were going from a small Private Christian School to a Public School. I've spent approximately $26K over the last four years and the education was great but the financial piece was overwhelming but shout out to my Village because if I was ever short a payment they came through for me like a tsunami! As we have navigated through this first full month of school we have found there are some significant differences in public school versus private school but we have not encountered anything that has been detrimental. I have actually found myself pleased with the new environment because they have more opportunities (library, PE, and extracurricular activities) than at their previous school based on it being a larger school with state resources since it's publicly funded.

Since I had a little more spare time with three kids in school I found some gems that I wanted to share with you, follow the links below for savings and FREE money......

With unicorns being the latest fashion trend, if your daughter(s) are anything like my daughters and "unicorn crazy" you don't want to miss these boots by Capelli at Nordstrom Rack-the price is unbeatable.

I also found these super cute, super glam duck boots by Olivia Miller at Nordstrom Rack for an absolute steal because I'm all about getting the most for my dollar especially with four mini fashionistas. While the ones I have linked here are not the exact same style my girls have, their boots have glitter where the tan leather is, but I'm assuming that style sold out as I cannot find them on the site. This is a great boot for an AMAZING price-don't miss out!

I am an advocate for setting my children up to be in better financial positions than I was when I turned 18 and because of that they all have savings accounts and now investment accounts. If you're like me and not well versed in investment savings these platforms make investing for yourself and your children really simple. Additionally, if you follow the links I have provided some are offering $5 towards your first stock or Robinhood will even provide you with a free stock. You can't pass up on FREE money! Stash is really simple and I have quite a few ETFs on the platform so I recommend it for your individual accounts as they also offer educational tips and tricks along the way. Stockpile I would say is a great platform to create individual accounts for your children and you can purchase and gift stock to them on this platform as well.

Now, this is my favorite morning routine find as this lunch cube allows you to pack a sandwich or cheese and crackers if your baby is like my 7 year old who refuses to eat a sandwich. Lol You can keep the sandwich separate from two snacks and the Sistema brand even has a salad cube for us Mommies as well. This is probably my favorite find!

Happy gem finding and money saving days Mommies!
